Chair of the Board of Trustees, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies of KIMEP University and Director of KIMEP Central Asian Studies Center (CASC). Nargis received her MA and PhD in political science from Nagoya University, Japan. Her areas of research include Central Asian Security, Eurasian Geopolitics and energy security. She is a member of the Advisory Group of the Europe – Central Asia Monitoring (EUCAM) program.

In 1987, Karlygash Yezhanova joined the youth weekly The Horizon - Өркен as correspondent. Later she worked as an observer for the weekly newspaper The Panorama, as a Press Secretary of the Almaty city administration, as Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning Department of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and as the Head of the PR Department of the Golden Eagle Partners Company. In 2006-2009, she worked in banking business: as Counsellor to Chairman of the Board of Directors and later as Director of the Brand Office of JSC Bank TuranAlem. In 2008-2009, she was Managing Director and member of the Board of JSC BTA Bank.
Karlygash Yezhanova has been publishing The Exclusive since 2002, for a long time also being its editor-in-chief.
Karlygash Yezhanova is an author of the book “Witnesses”, co-author of the monograph “Dynamics of public and political processes”, and editor of the book “Kazakhstan: history of economic reforms”. She holds two prestigious awards in journalism – one from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and one from the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.
Lawyer, a human rights defender specializing in freedom of religion or belief
Graduate of the Law Department of the Kazakh State University, since 1991 Zhangazy Kunserkin has been a member of the Aktobe Bar, and since 1992 - a member of the Almaty Bar. In 1995, he joined the Almaty Helsinki Human Rights Committee. In 1996-1999, he worked as the Lawyer in ARD/Chechi project focusing on the promotion of the judicial and legal reform in Kazakhstan.

Economist, Diploma with distinguish from Almaty Institute of the National Economy; PhD in economics at Kazakh State Al-Farabi, MA in Public Relations and International Journalism at KIMEP University; worked as a teacher of economic theory in a number of Almaty universities.
In 1993 she was the first in Kazakhstan awarded with grant of the USA Federal government and visited this country under special exchange program of Senator Fulbright. Under this program, she worked as a teacher of management department in University of Kentucky, USA, teaching a discipline of “Cross cultural management”.
She has more than 10 years progressive experience in Marketing, Sales, PR in number of American, European and Kazakh companies and non-profit foundations, Microsoft, Oracle, Eurasia Foundation.
In 20008-2014 Aida served JSC Kcell as Director of Corporate Affairs. The primary objective of the department is corporate communications establishment between the company and all market-stake-holders: mass-media, government, corporate customers, as well as departments and employees within the company. Now Aida is independent Advisor of JSC Kcell on Government Affairs.
